Butte eliminates Marin to play Delta in a 3 game set to advance to the Regional Finals

Butte Coach Anthony Ferro decided to staff the game pitching wise. Butte jumped up to a early 3-0 lead in the first inning then the Marin Mairiners scored 8 runs in the top of the 2nd then another 3 runs to push their lead to 12-3. Butte then scored a solo run in the bottom of the 4th and struck for 8 runs in the 5th to take the lead that they would never surender.
Butte plays SJ Delta in a best of 3 starting at 1pm on Friday May 10th.
