Butte dropped two games vs Feather River to open conference play. Butte was lead by Kolbey Stolpe who was 3 for 7 on the weekend with 1 double and drove in 2 runners. Also Collin Severson lead the Roadrunners getting on base seven times with 4 walks, 2 hits and 1 HBP. Jack Howsley had the only HR for the 2 teams in the series.
Pitchers Nate Simonton and Nathan Brown in relief didn't allow runs over the weekend.
Butte will back in action this Friday with a 3 game set in Weed, CA against College of the Siskiyous and former Butte College legend in Tevin Cadola.
